Shooting In San Francisco Leaves Two Dead, Another Injured

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Two men died after being shot in San Francisco's Bernal Heights neighborhood Saturday evening, a police spokesman said.

At about 7:20 p.m., officers responded to reports of a shooting on 192 Appleton Ave. next to Holly Park, according to police Sgt. Mike Andraychak and a dispatcher at the San Francisco Fire Department.

Arriving crews found a 21-year-old man and a 26-year-old man suffering from life-threatening gunshot wounds and a 30-year-old man whose gunshot wounds were not believed to be life threatening, Andraychak said.

"The victims were found in the street and in a nearby courtyard," he said.

The two men in their 20s died shortly after being taken to the hospital Saturday night, Andraychak said.

San Francisco police have detained multiple suspects in connection to the shooting.
