Eye On The Bay: Bay Area Beach Tour – 6/2/11

Check it out as we cruise our way to over 30 beautiful bay area beaches chosen by some of the Eye on the Bay staff and YOU, our viewers.  From great views to the perfect road trip pit stop we even pop in some restaurants with the best beach bites.

Pebble Beach/Bean Hollow (3 miles south of Pescadero on Highway 1)

Limantour Beach (Brian’s pick on the Point Reyes National Seashore)

Alamere Waterfall
Here is a great link to help guide you to the falls:

Muir Beach Overlook:

Pigeon Point Lighthouse Overlook

Pescadero, CA  94060

Cowell Ranch State Beach  (5 minutes south of Half Moon Bay)

Pirate’s Cove (0.7 mile hike south of Muir Beach in Marin)
From the Muir Beach parking lot, head across the walking bridge, and up the Fire Road, where you’ll find the main trail.  From our experience, it’s best to hit the beach on a low tide, as it’s super small, but very stunning if you time it right!

McClure’s Beach (16 miles west of Pt. Reyes Station in Marin)

So confused! I watch the show then come to the site and then nothing?? How can you find out about the areas you covered in the story so you can visit them???? What do you need to do to see anything other than the title and the picture? I’ve tried everything but there is nothing to click on to view??? So confusing why you send people here and theres nothing to see! I would have taken notes if I knew, now I have nothing to get me to the sites you talked about.

  • Phil

    ditto… where is the info?!?!?!?!?

  • Dennis

im glad i took a few notes, cause i dont find a link either.

  • Dave E

Ditto. I came to web site to find more info, but find only a reply of the video. Would must prefer to see a brief text summary (at least), or maybe a map with directions (better).

  • Tamara

  • Sandra C.

    ditto….where’s the listing? map?

  • Lisa

Yes, very strange indeed. The LIST should be published here. We would have recorded the show, if only we had known. Bummer…

  • phil

Where in the list of the beaches you said would be here?? Direction would have be nice.

  • Tolli

Here is a list of at least some of the beaches on the show:

  • cindy

I had to come back here to the site a couple times, and then I had to rewatch a few videos to take notes and now you say go online to get directions to the places. There are no directions to the places, just the notes I took of what was VERY quickly said on the show. I love the show but you gotta make it easier for us to go visit, not just tease us!!!!

  • Eye on the Bay

I’m so sorry for all of the trouble getting the information up but I hope you all are able to find it now. Thank you for your patience.

  • Martha

I would love to order a dvd of the June 2 Eye on the Bay: Bay Area Beach Tour. Is this possible? How do I go about ordering one? Thanks!
