Jennifer Hudson Hospitalized For Food Poisoning

NEW YORK (CBS) - Singer Jennifer Hudson has been released from a New York hospital after treatment for food poisoning Friday. The Chicago native was rushed to the hospital Friday morning with abdominal pains, according to online reports.

She fell ill after performing on "Good Morning America." A spokesperson later told RadarOnline.com that Hudson was treated for food poisoning and then released.

She missed a scheduled appearance on the "The Early Show" that airs on CBS 5, because of the illness. currently promoting her second album, "I Remember Me," and her upcoming movie, "Winnie," about Nelson Mandela's wife.

The 29-year-old Oscar winner is scheduled to perform on Live On Letterman. The online performance remains on schedule for Monday, June 13th.
