2 Arrested In Clearlake Shooting That Killed Boy

CLEARLAKE (CBS / AP) -- Two men are in custody in a weekend shooting in Lake County that killed a 4-year-old boy and wounded five others, including the boy's mother.

The Press Democrat of Santa Rosa reports that 23-year-old Orlando Lopez and 21-year-old Paul Braden were being held Tuesday in Lake County jail, a day after their arrest on suspicion of murder, attempted murder, and assault with a deadly weapon.

Authorities have declined to provide details about the shooting Saturday night in Clearlake and have not said what role they believe Lopez and Braden played. Detectives continue to search for a third suspect, 29-year-old Kevin Stone.

Police say the victims were at a barbecue when the shooting began.

The boy, identified by family as Skyler Rapp, was shot and died. His mother, Desiree Kirby, and the four other victims also suffered gunshot wounds.
