SAN BRUNO (CBS 5) – It has been almost a year since this neighborhood was reduced to a crater. In this Good Question: Has anyone started rebuilding near the San Bruno explosion site?

ANSWER: Several homeowners have begun to rebuild in the wake of the explosion. Contractors are very busy repairing roofs pouring foundations and at least three families have taken out permits to begin rebuilding immediately. The city of San Bruno confirms that several dozen other families have permits in the process of approval.
