Man Shot Along Pittsburg Trail; 3rd Incident In 3 Months
PITTSBURG (CBS SF) - East Bay Regional Park police were investigating a shooting incident on the Delta De Anza Trail in Pittsburg on Wednesday night, Pittsburg police said.
The shooting was reported at around 8:30 p.m. when a man was found suffering from a gun shot wound to the head.
Lt. Ron Raman of the Pittsburg Police Department said patrols have been stepped up because this is the third violent incident on the trail in months. There are no suspects in custody but they do know he was a young male adult in his 20s.

The incident is under investigation and further information was not immediately available. This part of the trail runs near two strip malls near Atlantic Avenue and Harbor Street.
The victim was listed in critical condition.
