2 Teens With Gun Sought At Redwood City High School

REDWOOD CITY (CBS SF) - Police failed to locate two male juveniles who reportedly entered a Redwood City high school with a gun Wednesday afternoon.

At about 2:40 p.m., police received a call from a concerned man who reported that he observed one of two boys pull a firearm from a backpack and show it to the other boy.

The man told police that the boy with the gun also removed and replaced its magazine.

Both boys had been walking near Sequoia High School, which is located at 1201 Brewster Ave., and casually entered the school campus' north side, police said.

Officers responded to the area of Broadway and Clinton Street and conducted a thorough search of interior and exterior areas of the school but did not locate the boys, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Redwood City Police Department at (650) 780-7100.
