Muni Metro Signal Problem Resolved
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Signal problems that caused delays in San Francisco Municipal Railway's Muni Metro system for about an hour Friday afternoon were resolved around 3:45 p.m., a Muni spokeswoman said.
Outbound light-rail vehicles began experiencing signal problems around 2:45 p.m. at the Powell Station, Muni spokeswoman Kristen Holland said.
Trains were not receiving the signal needed to move through the subway tunnel, forcing operators to travel through the tunnel at reduced speeds and using manual controls, Holland said.
