Woman Found Dead At Hayward Motel

HAYWARD (KCBS) – Authorities are investigating the suspicious death of a woman Friday night in Hayward.

Police said they were called to the scene of the Motel 6 on Industrial Parkway near Mission Boulevard around 9 p.m., this after firefighters were called there on reports that a body had been set on fire.

A clerk at the Motel 6 tells KCBS that the victim was not a guest at the motel and the incident is not connected to the facility.

The Alameda County Coroner’s Office is still trying to figure out a cause of death.

Police have not released any other details on the incident.

I don’t recall a Motel 6 at Industrial & Mission. Do you mean Industrial Parkway Southwest & Whipple? Different areas.

“The Alameda County Coroner’s Office is still trying to figure out a cause of death.”

Who wrote this article? A school-aged aspiring journalist?

I would have written, “The Alameda County Coroner’s Bureau has scheduled an autopsy in order to determine the cause of death.”
