Man Arrested For Stabbing Wife In Palo Alto

PALO ALTO (CBS SF) - Police arrested a 48-year-old man on suspicion of stabbing his wife multiple times in south Palo Alto on Tuesday night.

Daoming Qiu was arrested after he allegedly stabbed his wife at a home in the 3700 block of Redwood Circle, according to police.

Police responded after receiving 911 calls about a woman in her 40s bleeding on the street in the 300 block of East Charleston Avenue.

Paramedics transported the woman to a hospital. She had multiple stab wounds but was in stable condition, according to police.

Police said the stabbing occurred during an argument between the couple. No one else was injured.

Qiu was booked into Santa Clara County jail.
