Pedestrian Hit Crossing Santa Rosa Street

SANTA ROSA (CBS SF) - A pedestrian suffered life-threatening injuries Tuesday afternoon when she was struck by a vehicle in Santa Rosa, police said.

The crash occurred at the intersection of Fulton and Guerneville roads shortly before 3 p.m.

The female pedestrian was struck in the crosswalk while she was attempting to cross Guerneville Road, police said.

The vehicle was traveling southbound on Fulton Road and turning west onto Guerneville Road.

The female suffered major injuries to her head and was taken to a hospital, according to police.
