Small Earthquakes Shake North Bay

ANGWIN (CBS SF) - Three small earthquakes were reported in Napa County early Monday morning.

A 3.0 magnitude quake centered 3 miles east-northeast of Angwin occurred at 2:01 a.m., according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

About two minutes later, a 2.0 magnitude quake occurred 5 miles in the same direction from Angwin. At 2:21 a.m., a third earthquake, magnitude 2.1, occurred in the same area.

The epicenters of all three quakes were about 20 miles from Santa Rosa.

Two other earthquakes were reported in the Bay Area Sunday evening. A 3.5 magnitude quake 3 miles from San Leandro occurred at 8:08 p.m., and minutes later, a 2.3 magnitude quake occurred 3 miles west of the San Francisco Zoo.
