Woman Shoots, Kills Bay Point Man
BAY POINT (CBS SF) -- A man was shot and killed by a woman in the East Bay community of Bay Point on Saturday afternoon, according to the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies responded to a reported shooting at a home about 3:30 p.m., sheriff's Lt. Jon Moreland said.
Preliminary reports indicate a woman at the home shot a man once, wounding him fatally, Moreland said.
The sheriff's office is investigating the incident as a domestic dispute, but said investigators have not determined the nature of the relationship between the victim and the shooter.
Further details were not immediately released pending an active investigation.
