Pedestrian Struck, Killed In San Francisco’s Excelsior

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) — A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in San Francisco on Monday night, according to police.

Shortly after 7 p.m., police responded to Mission Street and Excelsior Avenue where a male pedestrian had been struck while crossing Mission Street, police said.

The vehicle was driving northbound on Mission Street, passing Excelsior Avenue.

The victim was taken to San Francisco General Hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.

    Pedestrians in Berkeley and San Francisco have gained an entitled attitude where they think they can blindly walk out into traffic, and it’s always the driver’s fault when the inevitable accident occurs.
