2 Boys Among 3 Hurt In Separate Oakland Shootings

OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Two separate shootings were reported Tuesday night in east Oakland, an Oakland police officer said.

The first shooting involved two boys who were shot by another juvenile around 9:07 p.m. in the 1200 block of 82nd Avenue, according to Officer A. Frye.

The boys were taken to a hospital in stable condition with gunshot wounds. The juvenile suspect is not in custody, Frye said.

Later Tuesday night around 10:40 p.m. a man took himself to the hospital after suffering a gunshot wound at Sunnymere and Seminary avenues, Frye said.

He was listed in stable condition.

No suspect information was available in the second shooting near Interstate Highway 580, Frye said.
