Pleasanton Police Looking For Teen Girl Missing Since Halloween

PLEASANTON (KCBS) – The Pleasanton Police Department is looking for a missing teen who they said is at risk and was last seen by friends and family on Halloween at Amador Valley High School.

15-year-old Shelby Harris, who is 5 foot 7 inches tall and approximately 140 pounds with black hair and brown eyes, was last seen wearing a Halloween costume consisting of a red cape, red shirt, blue jeans, black high heels and a Mardi Gras mask.

Pleasanton police said that through their investigations, they believe Harris may be in the company of 25-year-old Gavin McFate, who is currently wanted on an Alameda County Felony Arrest Warrant.

McFate is described as a white male, 6 foot 3 inches tall and approximately 210 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes.

Investigators said McFate and Harris were last seen in the Concord area on Tuesday morning. They may have been in a late 90’s model Honda Accord or Civic, which is black in color.

Police said the vehicle does not have license plates.

Investigators said it is not known at this time if Harris is with McFate voluntarily or against her will.

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call the Pleasanton Police Department at (925) 931-5100.

What is a “felony arrest warrant”? What was a 15 year old doing with a 25 year old?

    • DaPoPoMan

It is an arrest warrant for a crime classified as a felony. She is doing something that is inherently wrong and probably goes for the “bad boy.”
