Lou Reed & Metallica To Film An Aronofsky Music Video In Bay Area
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – Darren Aronofsky will direct a music video from the new Metallica and Lou Reed album, “Lulu.” The Oscar-nominated director of “Black Swan” and “The Wrestler” will produce a video for the track, “Iced Honey.” Aronofsky brings his cameraman, Matthew Libatique, to the project as director of photography. The clip will be shot in the San Francisco Bay Area and will be available for viewing late November.
Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich said Thursday that working with Reed and Aronofsky is “living the dream.” And the avant-garde Reed said he hopes the video can be “his Black Swan.”
