Shot Fired During Armed Liquor Store Robbery In Milpitas

MILPITAS (CBS SF) -- Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Milpitas liquor store on Wednesday.

The robbery occurred around 10:20 p.m. at Dixon Mart and Liquor on Dixon Landing Road, police said.

A man wearing a bandana over his face entered the business and demanded money at gunpoint. He then fled with an unspecified amount of cash, according to police.

The suspect fired one shot as he fled, but no one was harmed.

He was described as a Hispanic man around 30 years old, standing at 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing about 180 pounds. He was wearing black clothing and a bandana.
