Third Eye Blind Writes 'Occupy' Anthem

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF/LIVE 105) - 90's rockers Third Eye Blind has written a song about the Occupy Wall Street protests.  The track is called If There Ever Was A Time.  A few weeks back during a Occupy Wall Street movement in Oakland, Scott Olsen, a 24 year old Iraq war veteran had his skull broken during the protest.

In the song, Third Eye Blind uses clips from the police take down during Oakland protest.

According to Perez Hilton, Stephen Jenkins who fronts the band stated:

"I think college students are going to come to terms with the unfairness of student loans, the hallowing out of jobs from finance based capitalism, and the depletion of public wealth. When you take money out of politics, which is what Occupy Wall Street is about for me, you reverse these trends. This song is meant to encourage their participation. I hope we flood this movement with music."

Check out the song below and lets us know what you think!
