Suspect In Murder Near Occupy Oakland Camp Arrested

OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Law enforcement officials arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting a man near the former Occupy Oakland encampment at Frank Ogawa Plaza last month, an Oakland police spokeswoman said.

The suspect, identified as 20-year-old Norris Terrell of Oakland, was arrested in Louisville Ky. last week with the assistance of Louisville police, the U.S. Marshals Service, and Oakland police, spokeswoman Officer Johnna Watson said.

The man was arrested on suspicion of fatally shooting 25-year-old Kayode Ola Foster, an Oakland resident, on November 10.

At least four other arrests have been made in connection with the shooting, Watson said.
