Pair Of Oakland Shootings Hospitalizes 2

EAST OAKLAND (CBS SF)  - Two were injured in separate East Oakland shootings only about eight blocks from each other on Sunday night, Oakland police said.

Police responded to reports of the first shooting shortly before 8 p.m. in the 1000 block of East 15th Street.

Police found one victim there suffering from a gunshot wound. They were transported to a local hospital and are in stable condition.

Police are searching for two suspects in the shooting.

The second shooting was reported at 10:20 p.m. in the 1700 block of International Boulevard.

Police are also searching for two suspects in that shooting. An Oakland police officer said it was not clear whether the two shootings are related.
