Daily Madden: Both Harbaughs Look For Steelers Loss

SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - Baltimore Ravens coach John Harbaugh said he'd be sharing information about how to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers with his brother, 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh, whose team faces the Steelers Monday night. John Madden told the KCBS morning crew that brotherly love has nothing to do with it.

"Anyone that you don't play that can give you an advantage by beating a team that you do play, they will share information."

The 49ers lost to the Ravens last month and aren't scheduled to face each other again. Pittsburgh and Baltimore are tied at 10-3 at the top of the AFC northern division.

"As much as the 49ers (want to) win the game," Madden said, "the Baltimore Ravens want them to win the game equally as much."

One big question about Monday's game is whether Steelers star quarterback Ben Roethlisberger will play after suffering an ankle sprain last week.

"I'm not a betting man, but if you want a bet, I'll take Roethlisberger will play," Madden said. "Not only will he play, but he'll play well... When he got hurt and went in the locker room and they showed him on the cart going to the x-ray, I said 'if that x-ray is negative and he doesn't have a broken ankle or foot or something, he'll be back and play'. I've seen this scenario way too many times to believe that there's any chance that he won't play." (7:45)
