Intel Reorganizes For Another Crack At Mobile Market

SANTA CLARA (KCBS) - Chipmaker Intel's dominance in the personal computer market has not been enough to hold onto revenue as consumers spend more on tablets and smart phones and less on desktops and laptops.

This week the company revealed plans to fold four separate product groups into one team that develops processors for mobile devices.

KCBS' Matt Bigler Reports:

Intel-powered phones might someday deliver a very different experience than a traditional phone call.

Researchers at Intel Labs have been exploring how to deliver information about the environment of the person receiving the call to the person placing the call.
