(KCBS) – KCBS Entertainment Reporter Jan Wahl reviews "A Dangerous Method," starring Viggo Mortensen, Michael Fassbender and Keira Knightley.

A DANGEROUS METHOD (R)

The movie looks at how the relationship between Sigmund Freud and Carl Jung gave birth to a new form of psychotherapy known as "The Talking Cure," which is still used to this day.

Listen To Jan Wahl's Movie Review:

Michael Fassbender is perfectly cast as the engaging, yet quietly tormented Jung while Viggo Mortensen is self confident and articulate as Freud. Both are obsessed with sexuality being at the base camp of neurosis and psychosis.

It's a must see as Wahl gives "A Dangerous Mind," directed by David Cronenberg, four hats.

TINKER, TAYLOR, SOLDIER, SPY (R)

On the opposite end is "Tinker Taylor Soldier Spy," which Wahl calls a cold, empty and slow film. She gives the film, starring Colin Firth and Gary Oldman, one hat and said it would be better to rent the original TV series, which starred Alec Guiness.
