RED BLUFF, Tehama County (CBS/AP) – A Tehama County woman accused of giving her 13-year-old son an overdose of pills and slashing his throat with a knife has been charged with attempted murder.
Forty-year-old Theresa Garcia-Lewis was arraigned on Thursday in Tehama County Superior Court on two counts of attempted murder as well as assault and child abuse charges. The arraignment was continued until Dec. 20.
