Shooting Near Fruitvale BART Station Injures 1

OAKLAND (CBS SF) — A man was taken to the hospital after a shooting a few blocks from the Fruitvale BART station in Oakland Monday night, an Oakland police officer said.

A report of a man shot near 39th Avenue and International Boulevard came in at 10:23 p.m., police Officer J. Moore said.

The man was taken to the hospital and appears to be in stable condition, Moore said.

No one is in custody in connection to the shooting, he said.

    This is not news- rather, it is like a weather or stock report that happens daily (correction- stock markets are closed on weekends and holidays). With less cops and a weak administration, Oakland’s going for a record number of violent acts, trying to surpass the previous years’ of shootings, killings and other assorted crimes. Happy new year.
