$250k Worth Of Meth Recovered During Oakley Raid

OAKLEY (CBS SF) - Detectives from the narcotics unit of the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office served a search warrant at an Oakley home where pounds of methamphetamine worth roughly a quarter-million dollars was found Tuesday night.

Detectives from the Contra Costa County Sheriff's Office narcotics unit served a search warrant on a home in the 4500 block of Waterford Way around 8 p.m. Tuesday, according to sheriff's officials.

At the home, detectives reported seizing 9 pounds of methamphetamine with a street value of approximately $250,000.

Two men who lived at the home, Samuel Orozco Lopez, 23, and Jose Lopez Reynoso, 22, were arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance for sale and theft of utility services, according to the sheriff's office.

Both men are on immigration holds and are being held at the county jail in Martinez without bail, sheriff's officials said.
