SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) – The San Francisco 49ers are now just one win away from returning to the Super Bowl for the first time since 1994. The 49ers capitalized on five New Orleans turnovers for a thrilling 36-32 playoff victory Saturday over the New Orleans Saints.

“How about next weekend, the Championship game in San Francisco against the Giants? Who would’ve thought that?” John Madden asked the KCBS morning crew.

“It is crazy but it’s great crazy, it’s one of those things that, in that 49ers-New Orleans Saints game, I mean, that’s the best game I’ve ever watched and it just had everything in it and great plays and great plays when they were needed, to win,” he enthused.
