Shelter-In-Place Issued In San Francisco's Pacific Heights Neighborhood

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco police issued a shelter in place in the 3100 block of Pacific Avenue, near Lyon Street, because of a "natural gas issue," according to emergency officials.

A fire dispatcher said emergency crews were responding to the area but no further information was immediately available.

A PG&E spokeswoman said that utility crews were also responding to the area and that an outage was reported in the same area at 10:06 p.m.

The outage was affecting 332 customers in the area as of 11 p.m. and a time of restoration was not immediately available.
