2 Small Earthquakes Strike In South Bay

MORGAN HILL (CBS 5) -- The U.S. Geological Survey reported that two minor earthquakes occurred Wednesday evening in the South Bay.

A magnitude 3.4 quake shook an area near Watsonville at 6:20 p.m., according to the USGS.

A few minutes later, the agency said a magnitude 2.8 quake occurred near Morgan Hill.

There was no immediate word of any damage or injuries from either earthquake.
