Cal Women Edge Arizona In Overtime

TUCSON, Ariz. (CBS / AP) -- Reshanda Gray had 22 points and 13 rebounds to lead California to a 78-74 overtime victory over Arizona Thursday night.

Talia Caldwell had 17 points and 10 rebounds, while Layshia Clarendon had 16 points and five assists and Brittany Boyd contributed 15 points, six rebounds, six assists and four steals for Cal. The Golden Bears (16-6, 7-3 Pac-12) lost their previous game in overtime at No. 4 Stanford—that defeat halted Cal's six-game winning streak.

Shanita Arnold led the Wildcats (13-9, 2-8) with 18 points. Davellyn White had 17 points and Aley Rohde and Candice Warthen contributed 14 points each, with Rohde grabbing 11 rebounds for Arizona.

Cal led 44-32 at halftime but Arizona roared back and led 68-62 with 2 ½ minutes remaining. Gray, a freshman, then made two layups and Boyd scored with 1 ½ minutes left to tie it at 68, where it stood entering OT.
