Raiders' Janikowski Ordered To Substance Abuse, Anger Management Classes

WALNUT CREEK (CBS/AP) -- Oakland Raiders kicker Sebastian Janikowski has been ordered by a judge to undergo substance abuse and anger management classes after authorities said he shoved a woman at a nightclub.

The 33-year-old Janikowski's attorney agreed to the order on Wednesday after Contra Costa County prosecutors dropped a misdemeanor charge of false imprisonment.

Under the agreement, Janikowski must complete 30 hours of anger management and substance abuse classes, and another 30 hours of community service.

Janikowski was also was ordered to stay away from Syrena Nicholson, whom police said Janikowski grabbed and shoved at a 2010 rap show in Walnut Creek.

Janiskowski previously pleaded no contest to a DUI charge in 2002, and he was acquitted of possession of the drug GHB in 2000.
