OAKLAND (CBS SF) – Two people have been arrested in connection with a shooting in Oakland on Thursday that has left a 16-year-old boy in critical condition, police said Friday.

The teenager was injured in an exchange of gunfire with the suspects in the 300 block of West MacArthur Boulevard at about 1:40 p.m. Thursday, police spokeswoman Johnna Watson said.

The 16-year-old is suffering from an apparent gunshot and was transported to a hospital, she said.

The motive for the shooting is unknown and the shooting is under investigation, according to Watson.

    if the article is correct and not misleading then the injured boy was one of the shooters.
    If that is the case the I really don’t care, he got what he deserved. Better him than some innocent mother or baby
