San Francisco Muni Passenger Shot Getting Off Streetcar In Oceanview

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – One person was shot in the foot while getting off a San Francisco Municipal Railway train in the city’s Oceanview neighborhood on Sunday night, police said.

The victim was getting off the train in the 300 block of Plymouth Street at 7:19 p.m. when he heard shots and then realized he had been shot in the foot, Officer Albie Esparza said.

The victim saw several suspects fleeing the scene in a gray vehicle, Esparza said.

The victim was transported to San Francisco General Hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.

    Good thing MUNI has all those authorities on all the trains doing important things like keeping passengers safe as opposed to spending all their resources harassing each individual who dares to still ride MUNI for their transfers.
