'Alcatraz' TV Show Producers Rush to Save SF Stroke Victim

SAN FRANCISCO (TMZ) -- Several producers behind the television show 'Alcatraz' rushed to help save a stroke victim's life Wednesday in San Francisco -- but sources told the celebrity news website TMZ that the rescue effort wouldn't have been possible if not for a poorly parked car.

According to the sources, the car was parked on a city street where the TV crew needed to film, so producers tried to locate the car's owner and traced it back to a house on the block.

When producers knocked on the door, a young woman answered and informed producers that her mother had just suffered a stroke and she didn't know what to do.

According to the sources, producers notified several on-set San Francsico police officers -- who then rushed into the house, where the woman's mother was located. Soon after, an ambulance arrived and transported the woman to a nearby hospital for treatment.

There was no immediate word on the woman's condition at the hospital. Show production resumed on set following the incident.
