Phil Matier: Flight Of Families Concerns San Francisco Supervisors

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) – The San Francisco Board of Supervisors is attempting to tackle the issue of “family flight” – defined by the thousands of families with school-age children who left the city in the past decade.

According to data in the 2010 Census, the number of families with children under 5 actually grew slightly in the last decade, though families with children age 5 to 18 left San Francisco in droves.

KCBS’ Barbara Taylor Reports:

There seemed to be plenty of consensus at an hours-long Thursday hearing on the issue that there would be no quick solution, though it was hoped that the hearing alone would heighten awareness – and perhaps encourage more resolve on the part of local leaders to do something about it.

San Francisco has become a Cess Pool and no one with any common sense would not expose their family to such an environment….

I know the answer —- run away from bad influence —– lgbt
politically incorrect or not, I highly doubt a biological parent will say the follow: “My son, I want you to be a happy person when you grew up, so I want you to become gay, don’t disappoint me.”

No normal family would want their kids to grow in an ultra-liberal, abnormal, lgbt environemnt like SF.

  • TheEnd

The liberal/progressive/lgbt element of City politics along with the “we know better than you” laws enacted have driven normal families out of this immoral City. Illegals and the homeless have more rights and services than the legal citizens who dutifully pay their taxes and follow the laws. You want diversity? Well you can count out the normal hetero families. When the elected Sheriff pleads guilty in a domestic violence case and the Board of Supervisors are silent about ousting the lying abuser, this highlights that the City has its values upside down.
