Gunman Holds Up Concord Pizzeria

CONCORD (CBS SF) - A Concord pizzeria was robbed at gunpoint by a man wearing all black on Monday night, police said.

The man, who was armed with a handgun, entered Papa Murphy's Pizza at the Terminal Shopping Center at 2705 Clayton Road around 8:30 p.m. and jumped over the front counter.

Once behind the counter, the man ordered employees to open the cash registers and he took out money, then fled out the front door, police said.

He was seen getting into a white full-size pickup with a lumber rack, police said.

The suspect is described as a black man in his early 20s standing about 6 feet tall with a large nose. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, black jeans, black shoes, a black bandana and gloves, police said.
