Former Fresno Teacher Convicted Of Sex With Foster Daughter

FRESNO (CBS/AP) - A California jury has convicted a former Fresno teacher for having sex with his 13-year-old foster daughter.

33-year-old William Green was found guilty on six felony counts of lewd acts with a child and three misdemeanor counts of molesting or annoying another foster child who was 16.

The jury also found true a special allegation that Green had substantial sexual contact with the 13-year-old in his home.

The jury returned the verdicts on Wednesday after three hours of deliberations.

Green faces up to 20 years and prison when he's sentenced on April 19. He also must register as a sex offender for life.

Green was a substitute teacher and basketball coach at Fresno Unified School District schools. Police say the molestations didn't occur on a school campus and did not involve any student.
