Sunnyvale Youth Coach Arrested For Alleged Sex Crimes Against Minor

SUNNYVALE (CBS SF) – A youth sports coach from Sunnyvale has been arrested on suspicion of sex crimes against a minor, according to police.

36-year-old Emanuele Fabrizio was arrested at his Sunnyvale home Wednesday, according to Sunnyvale Dept. of Public Safety.

According to a press release, the father of a 13-year-old girl contacted Sunnyvale DPS detectives on March 12 with concerns about a relationship she was allegedly having with a coach.

Following an investigation, an arrest warrant was obtained for Fabrizio and he was arrested at his apartment on charges of lewd acts with a minor and sexual assault of a minor, police said.

Fabrizio was being held at the Santa Clara County Main Jail on bail of $1 million, police said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned in Palo Alto Superior Court on Friday afternoon.

    Not that it really matters anymore but, what sport did he coach (basketball, softball, gymnasties, wrestling? boys? girls?)? Possible other victims? What kinds of material did they find at his home? Where’s the rest of the story? Prayers to the victim’s family
