Man Stabbed To Death In San Francisco Western Addition

A man found fatally stabbed inside a home in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood on Sunday night has been identified by the medical examiner’s office as 38-year-old Artice Jones.

Officers had responded at 9:56 p.m. Sunday to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 1100 block of Buchanan Street, police spokesman Sgt. Daryl Fong said.

They arrived to find Jones, a San Francisco resident, suffering from stab wounds. He was pronounced dead at the scene, Fong said.

No arrests had been made in the case and no suspect information was available as of Monday afternoon, according to police.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to call the Police Department’s anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
