Man Dies From Gunshot Wound In SF Western Addition

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A man fatally shot in San Francisco's Western Addition neighborhood on Monday night has been identified by the medical examiner's office as 21-year-old Lawrence Richardson.

Richardson, a San Francisco resident, was found by officers who responded to a report of a shooting at 10:39 p.m. in the 1800 block of Eddy Street, police said.

Officers found him on the sidewalk suffering from a gunshot wound.

He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to police.

No suspect information was immediately available in connection with the shooting.
