RICHMOND (CBS SF) – Investigators are still trying to locate a driver who struck and killed a 28-year-old bicyclist in a hit-and-run collision in Richmond early Wednesday morning, a police lieutenant said Thursday.

Richmond resident Juan Garcia was struck around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday as he rode his bike south on 33rd Street near Barrett Avenue, Lt.Bisa French said.

Emergency responders pronounced Garcia dead at the scene, she said.
