Ice Cream Vendor Robbed, Pistol-Whipped In Oakland
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- An ice cream vendor was robbed and pistol-whipped Saturday afternoon in East Oakland, police said Sunday.
A suspect approached the ice cream seller around 2:25 p.m. at 57th and Harmon avenues and robbed him, Officer Kevin McDonald said.
During the robbery, the suspect pistol-whipped the victim, who suffered minor injuries.
The suspect has not been located, McDonald said.
