Man Shot Repeatedly In Richmond While Sitting In SUV

RICHMOND (CBS SF) - A man shot four times while apparently seated in an SUV in Richmond early Thursday morning was expected to survive his injuries, police said.

Police responded to the shooting near the corner of South Seventh Street and Virginia Avenue at 2:45 a.m., Lt. Cleveland Brown said.

The 35-year-old man had been seated in a Porsche Cayenne and was shot four times, three times in the left leg and once in the right leg.

He was airlifted to John Muir Medical Center and was expected to survive his injuries, Brown said.

Police have not identified any suspects in the shooting and no arrests have been made.
