Mountain View Gears Up For Live 105's BFD 2012 Concert

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - On Saturday, June 2nd, the Shoreline Amphitheatre hosts one of the biggest rock festivals in Northern California. Now in its 18th year, Live 105's BFD brings the heavies of modern rock and alternative music to Mountain View. This year, the line up on the Main Stage includes Naked And Famous, (Sacramento band) Cake, Garbage (pictured), Silversun Pickups and Jane's Addiction.

Jane's Addiction was not able to appear at last year's "Not So Silent Night" concert, (also put together by Live 105) with Green Day coming in last-minute to headline the event.

Other bands will also perform on separate stages during the day. Inside the Bud Light Festival Stage, acts include FUN, Pennywise, Angels And Airwaves, Neon Trees, GROUPLOVE, Of Monsters And Men, Falling In Reverse, Geographer, Walk The Moon and Imagine Dragons.

On the Soundcheck Local Band Stage, acts include Stone Foxes, The Holdup, AB & The Sea, New Diplomat, Dirty Ghosts, Seeking Empire, Trophy Fire, Midi Matilda and Young Science.

In the past, BFD featured artists from Linkin Park, The Strokes, Sublime to also include Hip Hop acts like Cypress Hill and Snoop Dogg. Live's BFD maintained featuring local bands like The Deftones, Mix Master Mike and Green Day.
