SAN JOSE (CBS SF) — An investigation is underway into a fatal shooting in San Jose Tuesday night, police said.

Officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 900 block of Owsley Avenue around 6:20 p.m., police said.

They found a teen male suffering from gunshot wounds and he was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.

No arrests have been made and suspect information was not immediately available.

Police said the circumstances surrounding the shooting and possible motive are under investigation.

The victim’s identity is being withheld pending identification of next of kin.
