San Francisco Man Dies While Snorkeling In Hawaii

KAMUELA, Hawaii (CBS SF/AP) -- Big Island police are investigating the possible drowning of a 50-year-old San Francisco man who was snorkeling along the Kohala Coast.

Police said Paul Tsang was snorkeling off Mauna Lani Beach Club Wednesday when someone on shore noticed he was floating. A man from Ogden, Utah on a paddleboard went to check on him and found him unresponsive.

Tsang was brought to shore, where a nurse from Tuscon, Ariz., helped lifeguards perform CPR. He was taken to North Hawaii Community Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

An autopsy will determine the exact cause of death.
