EMERYVILLE (CBS SF) – Mike and Sulley are back, but this time as undergrads at “Monsters University.”

Emeryville-based, Disney/Pixar has released four trailers for the prequel to the 2001 animated film “Monsters, Inc.,” in which actors Billy Crystal and John Goodman reprise their voice roles as the monsters one-eyed Mike and the furry Sulley.

“Monsters University” shows the pair as undergrads who don’t get along at first.

“This is about showing youthful exuberance and fun,” said director Dan Scanlon. “Just Mike and Sulley being wild and young feels right.”

“Monsters University” opens in theaters 2013 and will be showing in 3D in select theaters.

Check out one of the four trailers below. To see the other three trailers go to the film’s Facebook page.
