San Jose Motorcycle Crash Leaves 1 Dead

SAN JOSE (CBS SF) -- A 38-year-old man was killed in a solo-motorcycle crash in San Jose early Thursday morning, San Jose police said.

The man was found down in the street in the 4400 block of North First Street after a 1:17 a.m. call about the crash, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene at 1:28 a.m., police said.

It appears the man may have been speeding before he crashed. It is unknown if alcohol or drugs were a factor, according to police.

The motorcycle was the only vehicle involved in the accident, police said.
