FORESTVILLE (CBS SF) — A body was found in the Russian River near the unincorporated community of Forestville on Wednesday afternoon, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.

The body was pulled from the river near a bridge at Wohler Road about 4 p.m., sheriff’s officials said.

An investigation into the death is under way.

Information about the victim was not immediately available.
